The digital trading platform for onions: Uienhandel.com has undergone a transformation. The new website will be live from 28 July and can be used immediately for the purchase and sale of onions. For example, it is possible to follow the trade from your smartphone and to take immediate action.
In 2013, the possibility to trade onions digitally started. About 2 years ago, DCA Groep joined as a participant in onion trade.com† One year later, all remaining shares were acquired from Agrifirm Plant. The renewed platform is the latest step in optimizing digital trade.

The new website is fully suitable for mobile use. In this way, the trade can also be followed live on the road or on the tractor and action can be taken immediately. This also makes the website more user-friendly for onion buyers. The online method is open to all types and classes of onions. Both plant and seed onions, conventionally grown or organic products, can be offered and purchased.
No rating required
An important change is that parties are no longer assessed externally for their quality. Via a smart form, offered parties are quickly and clearly categorized and made transparent. Communication between seller and buyer has also been simplified. It is also possible to ask questions anonymously about the offered lot.
