The latest export figures provide a good insight into the latest state of affairs. What does the export figure for week 3 look like?

The preliminary information makes it clear that the export figure for week 3 amounts to 18.304 tons. Trickling information has led to an increase in export volume by 1.490 tons. As a result, the seasonal counter stands at 732.486 tons, which means an average weekly export of 27.129 tons.

Who took the onions?
Mauritania led the export market in week 3 with 2.879 tons and the country is now good for 37.729 tons this season. From Senegal's decrease it can be concluded that the country is preparing for the transition to its own cultivation. With 1.636 tons, Senegal is in second place, bringing the country's total to 165.150 tons.

Malaysia claims third place with 1.621 tons and has imported more than 42.000 tons of Dutch onions this season. Egypt and Jordan were last week with a decrease of 5 kilos. Onions were delivered to 80 countries in total.
