Agrifirm Plant has completed their storage pool for yellow seed onions. The result is €8,80 per 100 kilos in week 12. This includes a member benefit of €1 per tonne and a storage fee. This means that the onion pool scores above the average stock exchange listing, according to Agrifirm.
The storage pool for the 2017 harvest ran from week 48 to week 48. A storage fee is paid from the first week of the new year. This amounts to €0,50 per week. Including the maximum storage fee, the price is €9,10 per 100 kilos.

Across the board, the onion pool scores an average of €0,77 per 100 kilos better.
Rising prices
The average stock market quotation for 60% coarse seed onions in the same period is €8,03. Agrifirm calculates with an average of 30% to 60% coarse onions and 60% upwards. At its highest point, the price was €9,75 per 100 kilos. The price of the long storage pool is higher than the short storage pool. He put a result from €7,50, including member benefit.
