Onion exports are slowing down, as can be seen in the most recent export figures (week 24). They show a negative trend.
Onion export figures have fallen below 10.000 tons for the first time this season. The provisional export figures for week 24 indicate a volume of 9.707 tons. However, these are provisional export figures, which means that a level above 10.000 is still possible through a correction.
The total onion export for this season currently amounts to 1.115.964 tons. That is an increase of approximately 10% compared to the previous season in the same period.
