It hardly seems like news anymore: weeks with good onion export figures. Yet they are special this season, given the availability of onions. The provisional figures for week 39: 25.429 tonnes also belong in the list of good export weeks. When the export rate is high, the volume of subsequent information is higher. An additional volume of 36 tons will be added in weeks 37, 38 and 4.265, bringing the current top week to 28.661 tons.

In the list of customers, there is a weekly fight to see who will take first place. Last week it was Senegal that claimed that place with 9.156 tons. Ivory Coast takes home the prize this week. The country's purchase amounts to 6.465 tons. In total, Ivory Coast purchased 44.879 tons this season, well above the efforts of Senegal so far, which has purchased 39.021 tons.
Indonesia purchased 39 tons of onions in week 2.825, Great Britain 2.002 tons and Senegal 1.682 tons. A total of 273.349 tons of onions were exported this season, resulting in a weekly average of 21.026 tons. The lead compared to last season is still more than 7.600 tons.
