No more fireworks at the onion market in 2018
The situation on the onion market this year was special and extremes have followed each other in a short period of time. However, no more fireworks are expected for the last days of 2018.

Choose the subscription that suits youIt is quiet on the onion market, because many traders and processors are enjoying the holidays. The exporters and processors who have commitments for New Year's Eve collect the onions from growers and a few are still running.
Export demand is also calm. In addition, Senegal has extended the quota until January 15, but (for the time being) there is only an extension and not a new quota. Demand from Africa appears to be slowing down significantly in the coming weeks.
Emmeloord recorded unchanged
The regional stock exchange in Emmeloord (Flevoland) is trading unchanged. For the finest grading, €30 to €38 is noted, for the 30% to 60% coarse, €38 to €48 is noted and for the coarse grading, it puts €37 to €42 on the board. Due to Christmas there was no registration in Goes and Middenmeer.
