Great Britain is the most constant buyer on the onion export market this season. In week 22 they bought more than 25% of all Dutch onions.
The provisional export figure for week 22 is 4.220 tons of onions. This will be one of the last export figures of the 2018 harvest. Week 22 was the last week of May and very few Dutch onions were exported in June. Subsequent information (1.334 tons) and the figures from week 22 put the season total at 801.781 tons. The average weekly export amounts to 16.703 tons of onions.

The largest customer in week 22 is again Great Britain. This country purchased 1.122 tons of Dutch onions that week. Britain This makes it the only destination that has purchased more than 1.000 onions per week throughout the season. After Great Britain, Germany is the best buyer in week 22 (421 tons). Belgium follows in third place (392 tons).
