The export figures of onions seem to be fairly predictable, because a week with more than 30.000 tons is followed by a week with more than 20.000 tons. On balance, the onion export is a record.
Based on the provisional information, the figures up to and including week 40 are known. Total exports amount to 316.558 tons of onions, which means that the lead compared to other seasons is still maintained. In week 40, 24.092 tons were exported. The average weekly export for this season is 22.611 tons.
