Several companies were still active during Christmas week to get the last obligations delivered. Based on the most recent information, more than 52 tons of onions were exported in week 11.600. The largest share was transported to Senegal, 2.796 tons. As a result, the volume that Senegal has purchased this season increased to 146.536 tons, good for more than 20% of total sales.

Great Britain purchased 1.151 tons of onions, good for an export volume this season of 45.364 tons. It is striking that the English are more than 12.000 tons behind last season's schedule this season and almost 9.000 tons behind the previous season. Mauritania was the next largest customer with 1.095 tonnes. The country therefore records an export volume of 25.013 tons for the first half of the 2019-2020 season.

So far so good
The total export figure towers above all previous years. The counter currently stands at 714.995 tons, good for a weekly average of 27.499 tons. The volume of information provided for weeks 44 to 51 is 7.442 tonnes. It is now clear that exports were good until mid-January 2020, but that after that a different period will begin.
