This week's DCA Quotation carrot also shows only a small movement compared to last week. The carrot market has been so quiet for a number of weeks. This is all due to the poor quality carrot, which refuses to leave the market. Because there is already little demand, the price remains under pressure. Every now and then there is a good quality batch of carrots that sells for an additional price. However, these are outliers.

Trade is waiting
The question is whether there will be any change in the market in the short term. This is difficult to say. The trade is waiting for something to happen. But the prospects are that there is not enough demand to remove the bad parties. This creates price pressure. The trade expects that the current status quo will not change quickly.

The DCA Carrot Listing for B-carrot amounts to an average of €11 per 100 kilos. This is in a range of €8 to €14 per 100 kilos. This increases the average price by €0,50. C-carrot shows a decrease in the average by €0,50 to €11,50 per 100 kilos.
