Brazil the seventh buyer of Dutch onions

In the export figures of week 17, Brazil was the most important buyer of Dutch onions, in week 18 the export to the Latin American country doubled compared to the week before.

The export figures for week 18 amount to 19.313 tons of exported onions. This brings the season total to 1.074.270 tons and the average export is 24.415 tons per week. The export figures are still ahead of the current export record of the 2017 growing season, more than 30.000 tons more have now been exported than in the same period.

Export ended
Just like the week before, the largest buyer is Brazil. The South American country purchases 4.669 tons of Dutch onions, which is double the orders ordered in week 17. In total, Brazil has already imported 42.556 tons of onions this season. This makes Brazil the seventh buyer in this growing season. Exports to Brazil ended during this period.

The second largest buyer in week 1 is Great Britain with 18 tons, Guinea takes third place with 1.862 tons.
