Export is lagging behind
Just like a week earlier, Senegal is the largest buyer of Dutch onions, this time amounting to 5.721 tons. Another West African country takes second place. Importers from Ivory Coast purchase a total of 5.031 tons. Ivory Coast is showing well this season. This season, 30.145 tons of onions have already been purchased, which is approximately 10.000 tons more than last year in the same period. However, the figures are approximately 4.000 tons behind the 2018 growing season.

The third customer in week 36 is also a well-known name. Great Britain accounts for a purchase of 2.280 tons. In addition, there are 4 other customers with exports above 1.000 tons. In order of size, Mali, Belgium, Mauritania and Guinea complete the top 7.
