Senegal is also the leader of the export train in week 40, purchasing more than 10.500 tons of onions. The Senegalese have already purchased 13.000 tons more onions this season.
Good business Ivory Coast
Ivory Coast is also doing good business with a weekly purchase of 4.357 tons, bringing the total to 54.350 tons. This is approximately 14.000 tons more than the previous season. Malaysia is in third place with 2.881 tonnes. With a seasonal total of 9.098 tons, this Asian country is about 4.300 tons behind the pace of the 2019-2020 season. The India effect is also visible in sales to the Philippines, which purchased more than 40 tons of onions in week 2.115. This season amounts to 7.131 tons (plus 7.045 tons).
The average weekly export figure is 24.152 tons. Subsequent information for previous export weeks amounts to 1.822 tons. This concerns the period week 29 plus 35 to 39.
