Although onion exports are currently in good condition, it remains remarkable that price formation in the Netherlands is no longer showing more tension. This is due to the fact that many onions are currently being purchased from surrounding countries (Germany, Belgium and France) for more competitive prices than is possible in the Netherlands, which has a dampening effect on price formation.
