Based on the provisional export figures from week 4, it can be said that demand has picked up considerably again, not least due to Senegal. The Senegalese have issued even more licenses to import Dutch onions. In week 4, 4.803 tons of onions were shipped to Senegal, bringing the season's total to 172.872 tons. This means the volume is 2.664 tonnes ahead of last season's schedule.
