Israel is high on the list again
Israel is also at the top of the list in week 9 with a decrease of 1.372 tons. To date, 19.763 tons of onions have been exported to this Middle Eastern country. Mauritania purchased 1.326 tons of onions, raising the Dutch export result to 47.887 tons. Great Britain is the fourth and last country with an import of more than 1.000 tons and imported 1.203 tons of onions. The British seasonal result therefore rose to 66.674 tons.
The total seasonal volume that the Netherlands has exported is 961.527 tons. That corresponds to 26.709 tons per week. Last season this volume was 916.087 tons (-45.440 tons). Subsequent information from exports from previous weeks showed a volume of 2.142 tons for the period weeks 5 to 8.
