After overseas exports to Asia and Africa had shrunk considerably, the focus of exporters mainly turned to Europe. However, Dutch onions were too expensive for many European destinations. Due to low exports, both farm prices and bale prices subsequently fell.

The stock exchange committee in Goes increased its quotation this week by €0,50, bringing the quotation to €12,50 to €16,00. The odds in Goes and Emmeloord remained unchanged. While the stock exchange committee in Emmeloord described the market as price-sustaining last week, it now describes the market as calm, which means that supply is greater than or equal to demand.
