Will Ivory Coast overthrow Senegal?

After 2 weeks of 'export silence', because no figures were available, the latest figures were published again this week. What does this mean for the export result?

The latest export figures provide insight into the export results of BV Netherlands. No new updates were announced in the last 2 weeks due to a malfunction at KCB (Quality Control Bureau). But now a new update with the figures up to and including week 35 is available.

Based on the preliminary export information, the result is 168.589 tons, which is an increase of 28 tons compared to last year over the same period (week 35 to week 8.221). On average, 16.858 tons of onions were exported per week.

Ivory Coast is a notable buyer among the buyers. In week 35, this country purchased 5.471 tons of onions, 3.233 tons more than Senegal. There is also a lead in the season total, although this is less in percentage terms at 16.163 tons.

Great Britain second buyer
Great Britain was the second largest customer with 2.473 tons, now good for 19.672 tons. The other countries that purchased more than 1.000 tons are: Mauritania, Guinea and Mali with 1.949 tons, 1.919 tons and 1.018 tons respectively.{{dataviewSnapshot(2_1632320078)}}
