Senegal picks up pace and increases onion exports

Based on preliminary export information, the weekly export of onions in week 41 amounts to 38.601 tons. The weekly average therefore amounts to 27.614 tonnes. Cumulatively, the export result amounts to 386.596 tons and for the period weeks 28 to 41, it is exactly 16.521 tons ahead of last year.

Senegal has now picked up pace with a decrease of 10.280 tonnes, increasing the cumulative export figure to 70.083 tonnes. In second place is Ivory Coast with a total purchase of 64.520 tons, followed by Great Britain with a total of 34.924 tons.

In total, 10 countries purchased more than 1.000 tons of onions. Haiti came in tenth with 1.046 tons. {{dataviewSnapshot(2_1636012671)}}
