Stable onion purchase ensures good export result

They look like lap times, the export figures of onions. The figure from week 50 is also good and ensures an excellent overall result this season. What are these results?

The provisional export figure for onions in week 50 is 34.141 tons. This marks the fifteenth week in a row that more than 30.000 tons of onions have been exported. Additional export information for 38 tons was provided for the period weeks 49 to 702. Together, this increased the total export count for this season to 723.813 tons. Over the same period last season, 732.074 tons of onions were produced, a difference of 8.261 tons. This season we managed to achieve an excellent result.

Senegal and Ivory Coast led the way
It was again two African countries that led the way in week 50, namely: Senegal with 7.369 tons and Ivory Coast with 4.752 tons. Cumulatively good for the intake of 254.217 tons compared to 250.132 tons last season.

Great Britain has almost always been in 3rd place in recent weeks and this was also the case in week 52. 4.094 tonnes of onions were shipped across the Channel, bringing the total this season to 63.251 tonnes. Indonesia followed the British with 1.996 tons and Mauritania purchased 1.883 tons of onions based on preliminary information.{{dataviewSnapshot(2_1641410644)}}
