Based on preliminary information, the export figure for week 1 2022 is 25.123 tons. Remarkably enough, Senegal turned out to be the driving force. This was due to extra deliveries to Senegal after the turn of the year, which was not the case at first. Modest was the volume of subsequent information, which amounted to 1.050 kg and related entirely to week 49. The second and third place on the list of largest buyers in week 1 were taken by Côte d'Ivoire and Great Britain with 7.200 and 3.690 tonnes respectively.

The provisional export volume and the subsequent information push this season's export result to 827.189 tons. That is 8.017 tons more than the previous season. On average, 31.814 tons of onions were exported per week this season. Total exports in week 1 went to buyers in 84 countries.{{dataviewSnapshot(2_1643209896)}}
