The export train knows how to keep going this season and the limit of 1 million tons of onions has now been reached. A fantastic result.
Partly due to export information of 2.835 tons, the limit of 1 million tons of onions exported this season was passed in week 9. In week 9 itself, based on preliminary information, 'only' 16.813 tons of onions were exported, which can be regarded as a lean week. The total result for this season is 1.001.742 tons, which means an average of 29.463 tons per week. Last season, the magical 1 million ton limit was only broken in week 12.
