It seemed for a while that the onion market would miss out on export figures this week, but that ultimately turned out not to be the case. Based on preliminary information, the export figure for week 10 is 17.968 tons. Based on subsequent information, the export results of the previous weeks have been increased by 233 tons. This brings the cumulative result for this season up to and including week 10 to 1.019.944 tons, which means an average of 29.141 tons per week. The lead compared to last season over the period week 28 to week 10 has increased further to 51.060 tons, compared to 45.503 tons last week.

Largest customers
The largest buyer in week 10 was Great Britain with 3.055 tons. The British purchased a total of 100.263 tons of onions this season, compared to 'only' 66.355 tons and 61.783 tons in the previous two years. Dutch onions are apparently popular with the British.

After the British, buyers from Mauritania arrived with a purchase of 1.743 tons. Israel purchased 1.465 tons of onions, followed by Indonesia with 1.275 tons and Guinea with 1.241 tons. Malaysia imported 1.044 tons and closed the queue of buyers who purchased more than 1.000 tons.{{dataviewSnapshot(2_1648816342)}}
