Based on preliminary information, the export of onions in week 28 amounted to 15.504 tons. That is an increase of 27 tons compared to week 2.736. Although the season is still very young, there are already two records in the books, namely sales in weeks 27 and 28. The export season is therefore off to a good start.

Further information has increased the export figure of week 27 by 'only' 15 tons. Cumulatively, the export counter for the new season stands at 28.272 tons.

It was Ivory Coast, Great Britain and Guinea that formed the top 3 in week 28, purchasing more than 1.000 tonnes, with 2.455 tonnes, 2.276 tonnes and 1.601 tonnes respectively. The first containers of onions were shipped to Senegal with a total volume of 285 tons. The onions went to buyers in 59 countries.{{dataviewSnapshot(2_1659534632)}}
