Based on provisional export figures, the export volume of week 30 now stands at 22.280 tons. That is considerably more than the long-term average of the past twenty years this week, which stood at 12.903 tons. These are the well-known countries that purchased a lot of onions in week 30. For example, Ivory Coast is leading the way with 4.087 tons. Behind this are the British with 2.992 tons, followed by Guinea with 1.832 tons, Gambia with 1.107 tons, Mauritania with 1.081 tons and Nicaragua with 1.075 tons. Senegal takes ninth place with a purchase of 778 tons.
Subsequent information for the period weeks 27 to 29 still shows a volume of 1.262 tons. This brings the cumulative export result to 69.274 tons, which means an increase of 17.640 tons (+34%) compared to the last season.
