It is not the time of big outliers in onion export. Nevertheless, exports continue to do well. It is mainly the Europeans who are on the market for Dutch onions. In Week 15, the exporters shipped 12.977 tons of Dutch onions across the border. That is almost 1.500 tonnes less than last week, but still an excellent result. There is, however, some discussion about the export figures and the CBS revenue figures. The two numbers don't quite match. There are no changes in the top three largest buyers this week. Great Britain is by far the most important destination with 3.240 tons in week 15. Spain is in second place with 1.473 tons, followed by Germany with 1.181 tons. In total, the Dutch went to 66 different countries, five of which purchased more than 1.000 tons.
