Number plates Farmer Consciously very popular among farmers
The Boer Bewust initiative has introduced its own number plate holder. The license plate holder appears to be a great success among farmers. The holders are already massively requested and shared on social media.
On the license plate holder of Farmer Conscious states: 'Conscious farmers feed the world'. The organization had initially developed 500 records, but due to the great success that first stock is already sold out. 'The first 500 record holders were sold out within 4 days, but we will have new stock next week. So then they will be available again', says Peter van Damme, initiator Boer Bewust.
Politicians
One of the first license plate holders was given as a gift to CDA member Jacob Geurts† Other agricultural politicians are also interested in the license plate holder. Van Damme: 'A colleague of ours brought the record to Jaco's. He was genuinely happy with it and showed his pride for the agricultural sector as well.'
Expect success
The success came completely unexpected for the initiators of Boer Bewust. 'It originated as a promotional tool for the Boer Bewust website. It will go online at the beginning of April. We thought it was a funny idea to give away a number plate when buying a 'Farmer Conscious Board''
The promotion will not end for the time being, but according to Van Damme it is important that people realize that the holders cannot be purchased separately. 'We get a lot of requests about the price of the license plate holders, but there is no possibility to buy them separately. We don't intend to either.'
The latter will in any case not ensure that farmers stop sharing their 'Boer Conscious license plate holders'.
