Certis USA, the sister organization of Certis Europe, has acquired 100% of the shares of LAM International. LAM international is a developer and producer of many important biorationals including BotaniGard. In addition, the company has a large pipeline of newly registered products and projects under investigation.
LAM International has a state-of-the-art fermentation production plant, complementing the Certis USA liquid fermentation plant in Wasco California. LAM International, based in Butte Montana USA, will continue to operate as a subsidiary of Certis USA. Luis A. Mazariegos, founder and CEO of LAM International, will continue to serve as a consultant to Certis USA within the organization.
More complete package of biorationals
Certis USA is an important producer and American distributor with a broad portfolio of biorationals for niche crops in agriculture, horticulture and the home and garden market. The acquisition of LAM International provides the company with an even more complete package of biorationals and several future products in development. For Certis Europe, Certis USA's products are the main source of its biorationals portfolio.
Certis Netherlands largest in biorationals
In the Netherlands, Certis has the largest package of biorationals with 12 products and therefore 12% of its portfolio. Within this product group, LAM International's BotaniGard has been the largest resource for many years. The acquisition of LAM International therefore represents an important step in Certis' ambitious target of 25% biorationals in its portfolio within 5 years.
