Agrometius takes over the sales and service activities in the Benelux and Germany from Precision Makers. The two companies announced this in a joint press release on Thursday.
Precision Makers, known for the Greenbot and their solutions for fully autonomous tractors and mowers, wants to focus more on developing and producing new applications and techniques through this step. Agrometius, specialist in the field of GPS control and precision agriculture, has more capacity to sell, install and support the systems.
Specialist in autonomous control
Precision Makers is part of the Dutch Power Company and is the world's first company to market a practical system for autonomous control of agricultural vehicles. In recent years, systems have been sold all over the world for use in fruit growing, golf courses and fields. The Greenbot is their own autonomous “tractor” that was developed jointly with sister company Conver. Precision Makers has also been supplying YieldMasterPRO for several years, a system for yield measurement on harvesting machines.
Distributor for Benelux and Germany
By transferring the sales and service activities from the Benelux and Germany, Precision Makers wants to focus more on developing and producing systems. In Agrometius they have found the partner who, with more than 50 specialists, is well able to install, maintain and support the systems. Agrometius is part of Royal Reesink NV and offers a one-stop-shop of products and services for precision agriculture and GPS control. Director Dennis Nijland sees Precision Makers' products as a valuable addition to the current product portfolio. "The products help our customers to work even more efficiently with a high continuous quality."
New specialists wanted
The coming months will be dominated by knowledge transfer and the transfer of current users. Precision Makers believes it is important that users receive the service and support they are used to in the future. Both Agrometius and Precision Makers are immediately looking for new employees for sales, support and development.
