Three new department chairmen announced

LTO has elected three new department chairmen. These department chairmen will work within the new structure envisaged by the advocacy organization. 

In the new organization the departments become more important and take center stage. LTO announced the following department chairmen today. 

1. Wil Meulenbroeks becomes chairman of the Dairy Farming Department. He wants to work for more solidarity among dairy farmers and more social support for dairy farming. Meulenbroeks is 56 years old and has a dairy farm with 200 cows in Lage Mierde in Brabant. He takes over from Kees Romijn.

2. Niels Zuurbier is chair of the Vollegrondsgroete department. He is 39 years old and has a company in Heerhugowaard, North Holland. Zuurbier takes over the chairmanship from Jan Roefs. 

3. Ralph van Venrooij will lead the Horse Husbandry Department. He is 36 and himself a horse owner. He also wants to work for members.
