Brabant agrees to stricter livestock policy

companies are already going to the buttons with this policy when will this stop or will the entire livestock industry have to bow to nature.

@Anton. Van Aartsen once said at a public meeting (and was later also in the news) that the goal is to make the Netherlands the New York of the EU. In NY you will find little or no livestock farming and that is why this does not fit in NL. Why did you think that investments are made in international court (which nobody listens to), offices for multinationals (such as if that means tax evasion), last year's meeting in The Hague for safety, etc., etc. That ultimately also related to livestock farming industry such as milking robots, ventilation systems, construction and furnishing of feed factories and slaughterhouses, bulk trucks, etc., etc., disappear from NL, which is subordinate to that.

For me it doesn't have to be this way anymore... disgusting is the only good word.

Dutch farmers have to make way for other sectors, it is a great shame. One lie is made by another deception!

People think their food grows in the supermarket, I really hope the shelves are empty at some point!

Sad, seen years ago London where the agricultural sector was taunted and cheated by the politics and citizens of EK. Sad, for the citizen who doesn't know that food, leftovers of the tasty Dutch potato, peeling leftovers of prepared food, fries and beer will have to be burned after the expiry date. That costs money!! Because the business community will calculate it through the Retail. Only the lied citizen will soon complain that he did not know that. Everything can be more expensive for me. Enjoying when wrong food enters our country.

Dear Mr. Mrs. Willems, my sincere condolences, you or your loved ones have apparently been hit very hard.
However, you forget that a number of animal diseases can be transmitted to humans as long as humans have existed. Does this mean we should exterminate all mammals?
We also know that intensive livestock farming releases particulate matter, just like with pets in a house, does this mean that we are going to ban all pets?
Roads and aviation release even worse particulate matter, namely particulate matter containing PCBs. Are we going to scrap all cars and planes now? And the last question, I assume you don't own any pets or car, and you never travel by air?
Sorry, but I, as a non-livestock farmer, had to get this out. The truth lies somewhere in the middle and in this country we will have to make it together and with respect for each other. And respect also includes those who provide you with everything you put in your mouth, not to be so disrespectful and hostile. If they aren't there. were you also had no right to exist..
And there is no risk-free life on our earth.
