3.707 applications for SDE+ subsidy

Of the available SDE+ subsidy budget, €4,7 billion has been allocated to projects. And there is still €1,3 billion left. By the end of June, RVO.nl had honored 3.707 applications. 

The spring round of the Sustainable Energy Production Incentive Scheme (SDE+ Spring 2017) was opened in March. A budget of €2017 billion is available for the SDE+ spring 6 to support projects.

De spring opening has delivered 3.707 approved applications up to the end of June. As a result, more than € 4,7 billion of the available budget for the SDE+ spring 2017 has been allocated to projects.

By far the most approved applications are solar energy projects, 3.580 applications for a subsidy budget of € 1,8 billion. For wind energy, 66 projects have been approved for an amount of € 2,2 billion. In the biomass and geothermal category, 55 projects will receive a subsidy totaling €552 million. 

In total, 4.673 applications for renewable energy projects submitted to RVO.nl, good for €7,1 billion.
