Practical tools for precision farming

The Dutch edition of PotatoEurope, which will be held in Emmeloord on 13 and 14 September, has been given the slogan 'Potatoes Feed/Meet the world'. The fair itself is the meeting point, the European potato platform of 2017.

The 'feed the world' part is twofold. It stands for the possibilities that potatoes offer to feed the growing world population. In addition, the fair 'feeds' the visitor with knowledge and practical tools for improving cultivation with precision agriculture.

Since the entire chain is present at the fair, there is something for everyone. The more than 265 exhibitors offer information on all fronts at their stand and also offer a glimpse into the future of potato cultivation. The trial fields in the middle of the fair offer a wealth of information.
