The potato processing for the month of September belongs in the list 'c'est formidable'. However, September 2017 is not at the top. Why is that and what effects does it have?
In September, 328.800 tons of potatoes were processed, which is an increase of 2016 tons compared to 4.500. That is a plus of 1,4%. Although it is a good processing result, September 2017 will have to put up with the year 2015, with 333.300 tons. On average, 2001 tons of potatoes were processed from 2016 to 288.756.
Processing efficiency
From the processed quantity of potatoes, 142.600 tons of pre-fried product and 27.100 tons of other products were produced. That is a processing efficiency of 51,6%.
