Machine builder Dewulf-Miedema is resolutely going for Dewulf as the new official company name. This marks the next step in the merger process that both companies started in 2014.
For the staff, nothing changes besides the name. In November 2014, the Belgian Dewulf and the Dutch Miedema signed a takeover agreement. The merger made it possible for both companies to grow into the world's top agricultural machinery manufacturers for the cultivation of potatoes and root crops.
Logical step
In recent years, the 2 companies increasingly grew into 1 entity. "Internally we have been working together as 1 company for a long time, but that was not really noticeable in our company name. It is a logical step to make our close cooperation clear to the outside world in our name. We will continue together from now on as Dewulf", says Willem Decramer, CCO at Dewulf.
The trusted names Dewulf and Miedema will be retained as brand names for Dewulf's soil preparation, planting, harvesting, sorting and storage solutions.
