The National Agricultural Standards for 2017 have been published. A number of changes have occurred. These changes include production rights.
Until recently, there was still a lack of clarity about depreciation for pig and poultry rights. It was eventually announced that the rights will remain until January 1, 2028, making them in 11 years can be written off† Nothing is yet mentioned about the depreciation of phosphate rights, because they only took effect in January 2018.
Other changes
In addition, it emerged that any value of the sugar quota may be written off to €1 as of 2017 October 0. That is the date on which the quota expires.
The National Agricultural Standards 2017 also includes a valuation for all red meat cattle from 8 months old. Previously, this was only there for the luxury beef cattle. The standards for the middle segment of broilers have also been included and the depreciation of new agricultural farm buildings has been changed.
