The transport ban around a duck farm in Biddinghuizen (Flevoland) has been withdrawn. This was announced by the Ministry of Agriculture, Nature and Food Quality (LNV). The cancellation will take effect from tomorrow, Tuesday 9 January.
At the beginning of December, an infectious variant of bird flu found at the company. Minister of LNV, Carola Schouten, took various measuresincluding a travel ban.
In addition, poultry no longer needs to be examined before being transported to a poultry farm. However, the cage and shield obligation remains in force.
