Marc Calon, chairman of LTO Nederland, says he wants to expel fraudulent members. The Dutch Dairy Farmers' Union (NMV) is also considering banning members who have demonstrably cheated from now on.
LTO Nederland wants to clean up its own nest. This now within six months farmers will be suspected of fraud. This concerns a group of pig farmers who may be involved in manure fraud and a group of dairy farmers who are suspected of incorrect registration of livestock. Calon said on Tuesday January 23 in the TV program Nieuwsuur that he would expel fraudulent farmers.

The NMV is also considering what to do with fraudulent members. Chairman Harm Wiegersma in BBTV: "In the next board meeting we will discuss how to deal with possible fraudulent members. I can imagine that we will expel them."

fraudulent pig farmers... in my opinion, as far as there is already there is still among the companies with land. Someone has to put that manure on the land and thereby endanger the nitrate.
Is Calon there for the farmers when it comes down to it? Or is he there for himself? LTO as an organization in itself is not wrong and do many good things.
