Decrease from 4% to 4,5%

Payment entitlements worth less in 2018 and 2019

1 February 2018 - Kimberly Bakker - 19 comments

The payment entitlements will decrease in value by approximately 2018% to 2019% in 4 and 4,5. This is because there is less budget available for these years. The Netherlands Enterprise Agency (RVO.nl) reports this on its website.

Less money is available, because part of the budget for direct payments from the Common Agricultural Policy (CAP) will be transferred to the Agricultural Nature and Landscape Management subsidy and the Compensation for the broad weather insurance premium. This leaves less for direct payments from the CAP.

How much is it?
This is expected to fall from 4% to 4,5%. This is compared to the value as previously determined for 2018 and 2019. This value can be found on the RVO.nl website.

The exact value of the payment entitlements will be calculated after June 30, 2018.

If thousands of dairy farmers are going to be cut on payment rights or even lose them for a few years, they will no longer have to cut others.

Has nothing to do with whining, I just notice that the Netherlands is controlled by one big mafia gang.

Everything is simply skimmed off extra to finance leftist schemes and civil servants' hobbies.

Don't nag man.
Be glad you get something!!
I have about 20K annually and have to work half a day to fill it in...

Why are they called rights?? it is nothing more or less than a disguised wage/benefit.

I'd rather we stop with this income support altogether. We keep a lot of civil servants at work in this way, who are paid by the sector. And now we are on a chain. Because it MUST be the way they want it, otherwise you will be cut

Wasn't it a partial compensation for the falling prices, the compensation is just getting less and less, could this also happen to the worker?
Skirt 1 February 2018
The difference is that the worker has a good union, the farmer has the LTO...

Martijn van dam has once again proved that he would rather get rid of the farmers.
For those who still vote PVDA DO NOT MORE.

Compensation???
Go to the butcher or baker, go straight to the hairdresser in the village and ask if they get something...
No, they have every reason to do something about their prices every year.
Get away with it this is the only form of food safety food should not become too expensive globally.

@abolish
How many hours does a farmer work?
what is the cost per product?
or should everything come from low-wage countries with stifling co2 transport to the Netherlands? DO YOU like that we STILL abuse and exploit people in low wage countries????

Farmers and butchers are much better organized than farmers. They are smaller in number, which already works much better.
Do you want to try to get the farmers in line, I'll follow

Indeed, subsidized (dairy) livestock farming itself has well demonstrated that it is very unreliable. Indeed, don't cry now.

We produce 90% of our food (or its processed product) for export to those low-wage countries you're talking about.
There are few local farmers worldwide who are happy with our dirt cheap products that are dumped on their local markets.

If we abolish payment rights, the products must be marketed at a different price, otherwise there will be no farmers left in NL in 10 years.

If we want to export more expensive products, a number of export destinations are automatically excluded.
So with intensive crops we may be able to shrink by as much as 10% to 15%.
win win anyway.

Perhaps we have all started to produce far too much food, and that is why food prices are far too low for the producer worldwide.....

if there is one that is unreliable it is the robbery.
