In addition, approximately 0,5 million square meters are located on roofs in the urban area. This concerns a total of more than 61.000 properties, of which 30.000 are in rural areas, 30.000 in the cities and 1.000 in business parks.
"The existing asbestos roofs are getting older and this poses a danger to public health.
