SGP farmer Dijkgraaf leaves

Member of Parliament Elbert Dijkgraaf (SGP) leaves the House. The House of Representatives will announce this on Tuesday 10 April. Dijkgraaf gave up work in mid-January because he is overtired. Within the SGP he was responsible for agriculture, among other things.

The news was announced during a press conference. In the House of Representatives Dijkgraaf (on behalf of the SGP) was, among other things, spokesperson for agriculture, finance and defence. His duties are currently performed by Kees van der Staaij and Roelof Bisschop.

Proud of agricultural sector
In the run-up to the last parliamentary elections told Dijkgraaf in the studio of Boerenbusiness that he is proud of the Dutch agricultural sector. In the broadcast of BB TV Politics, he explained why agriculture is a spearhead for the party.
