Boerenbusiness develops high-quality market information for agricultural entrepreneurs. In order to communicate this market information, in some cases we process your contact details. For example, we can keep you informed of the latest developments in the market through our newsletter.

When processing this data, both business and personal, safeguarding your privacy and protecting your data is central. We follow the guidelines from the AVG (General Data Protection Regulation).

The basic principle here is that only data is processed that is absolutely necessary, and we only do this if (one of) these points are met:

  • You have given permission;
  • Due to the implementation of a subscription or training;
  • It has the necessity from an interest that we have together;
  • Due to a legal obligation

What data is processed
Which data is specifically processed depends on the consent you have given us or the purpose of the processing. To send you our daily newsletter, we ask you to provide, for example, your name, e-mail address and sector when registering. This way we know exactly which market information is of interest to you and where we can send it.

We always specifically state per service which data we need from you and why we process it. After delivery, we store your data in a safe and protected location where only the employees involved Boerenbusiness able to.

What are the reasons why I have to leave my details?
There are several reasons why we ask you for your data. An example of this, as described earlier, is that we would like to keep you informed of the latest market developments via our newsletter. Other examples are:

  • Give access to subscriptions through your own account,
  • Informing about events or (marketing) activities,
  • Service-oriented emails or phone calls,
  • Personal e-mail or telephone contact.
