ZLTO CEO Hans Huijbers resigns

5 October 2018 - Redactie Boerenbusiness - 6 comments

Hans Huijbers will resign from his position as CEO at ZLTO after 9 years. The organization reports this on its website. Huijbers will hand over the baton next spring. It is not yet known who will be the new chairman.

"Huijbers has informed us that he considers this (after 9 years) a suitable time to transfer ZLTO to a new director with confidence," the interest group reports. "He chooses to refocus his energy on his dairy farm."

Changes
Recruitment for his successor will start this weekend. This is a major change, because it will soon be announced who will be the new director of ZLTO.

In addition, director Gerard Nabuurs will not stand for re-election for a new term, due to developments in his own company. A procedure will also be started for his succession in the board.

The rats leave the sinking ship.

At least, that's what they want us to believe. The same people keep pulling the strings behind the scenes. But soon after "member counting by WUR" of the LTO, heads will roll, and then you are better out of sight.

Time on his own dairy farm. Yes, like one Wouter Bos left the PvdA to spend time with his family. But a little later managed to get another well-paid job.

Power sticks, stinks, corrupts and addicts.

As long as no man older than 55 years comes back for it. These men are from "the old days". A young man or a woman instead!!

The sector used to be in better shape than it is now. The ZLTO in particular has taken the entire livestock sector hostage and forfeited with its phosphate rights system. The Netherlands is the only country with a phosphate ceiling, in Denmark they have understood it better, only derogation if you are land-bound. Then you don't need KLW phosphate rights and all those other stifling regulations to maintain public support.
