The German machine manufacturer Grimme is organizing its 2-yearly novelty show Grimme Technica in Damme this week. The company expects to achieve record turnover in 2018. All branches of the company have performed well this year. Grimme also shows a number of new machines.
Grimme Group expects to experience 'single digit growth' at all companies this year. In addition to Grimme's potato and beet technology, the subsidiaries are also doing well. These are Internom (plastic), Ricon (screen mats), Spudnik in the United States (US) and Asa-Lift in Denmark. The latter brand will have the same styling as Grimme from 2019. In 2017, the Grimme Group achieved a turnover of €459 million.
During the Bejo Days in September, Grimme showed their collaboration with the British Stanhay. The Grimme Technica is followed by the official international introduction. This also adds vegetable sowing technology to the company's portfolio.
Grimme uses the Technica to show new or renewed products to the public. These are the EVO 280 potato bunker harvester, Rexor 6200 and 6300 beet harvesters, Stanhay seeder and Asa-Lift carrot bunker harvester.
New potato harvester
EVO 280 is launched as a replacement for the SE 150-60. The offset bunker harvester measures 3 meters outside, which means that it can legally travel anywhere in Europe (without special exemptions). The latest generation of Rexor self-propelled beet harvesters is getting an update, partly for the Stage 5 emission standards and the Stanhay and Asa-Lift machines now have a Grimme look.
