As of 2018, a new disability insurance (AOV) is available. This AOV has been adapted to the wishes and needs of today's agricultural entrepreneurs. The AOV originated from a collaboration between Boerenbusiness and De Goudse and offers the opportunity to save considerably on your AOV.
Antoine Eising is 36 years old and recently took over the arable farm of his father Harmannus in Swifterbant. It concerns a 130 hectare company, a large part of which is used for seed potato and onion cultivation. In winter, seed potatoes are sorted for third parties. It is an intensive company, and Antoine cannot be missed for a day; certainly not now that his father is gradually withdrawing from the company. That is why Antoine took out disability insurance about 10 years ago, when he entered his parents' general partnership.
New AOV
However, the current AOV no longer matched Antoine's wishes and needs, which is why he approached Mark Hogendorf of Advies en Kies for a new disability insurance. "Mine was overdue and had a long waiting time, with a relatively high premium," says Antoine. "I paid more than €3.300 per year for the insurance, for an insured amount of €20.000."
"I was not aware of this specially developed AOV and its advantages, Mark pointed this out to me. The conditions of the AOV of De Goudse are a lot more attractive to me. My new premium is €2.180 and that for an insured amount of €42.000. That is a doubling. The waiting time has also been reduced from 360 days to 180 days."
