'Fill up my wallet and be energy neutral'

Paul Pronk is a proud fourth generation arable farmer from De Goorn in North Holland. He grows various vegetables: coloured carrots, parsnips and beets. He recently started generating his own electricity with 1.090 solar panels. The installation, including the application and processing of the SDE subsidy, was done by 'Energy Shift' from Barneveld.

"I love nature," says Pronk, pulling carrots out of the ground. "But, I am also an entrepreneur. I would like to be energy neutral, but I also want to think about my wallet."
