First tender of the 2019 season

After the success of last year, Uienhandel.com is now issuing the first tender for the 2019 cultivation season. In this message you will find the conditions and specifications.

This tender relates to yellow seed onions, delivery ex country. You determine the volume with which you want to participate (based on hectares). Note, however, that this is a limited volume. Full is full!

Below are the specifications:

• Type - It concerns yellow seed onions (field crop), with the grading 35 millimeters upwards. MH was also sprayed.
• Delivery - It concerns delivery ex-land, cultivation season 2019. The onions have then grown, harvesting in consultation with the buyer.
• Price per 100 kilos - €8, with participation.
• Participation - Participation on the average stock exchange listing of Emmeloord and Goes, in the week of the decline. In addition, €8 is the bottom price; only upwards participate.
• Designated plot - The buyer comes to view the parcels before delivery. The tender only relates to the designated lots.
• Weighing costs - The weighing costs are for the seller, whereby the weighbridge is designated by the seller.
• Taring - The tare percentage at the buyer's company is binding, unless otherwise agreed. To determine the moisture loss, the sample must be weighed before and after drying and ventilation. The sample is dried for a maximum of 5 days at 25 degrees Celsius, with a ventilation capacity of at least 150 m³ of air per 1 m³ of onions per hour. And then post-ventilated with unheated outside air for 1 day with the same ventilation capacity.
• Moisture loss - The moisture loss is determined by the weight of the sample. This is done by decreasing the weight before storage and drying by the weight of the sample after storage and drying. The buyer offers the seller the opportunity to monitor the drying process.
• Discount - Up to 10% tare there is no discount. From 10% to 13% tare, €0,15 per 100 kilograms is deducted from the price per percent. From 13% to 16% tare per percent, €0,30 per 100 kilos is deducted from the price. 
• Commission - €0,125 per 100 kilos over the gross tons.
• Other - Before the conclusion of this agreement, the buyer and seller will be informed who the counterparty is. Both buyer and seller have the option to cancel the agreement.
