Many arable farmers have been eagerly awaiting a serious amount of precipitation for weeks. Growers in the north of the Netherlands in particular saw this wish come true on Sunday 26 May, according to an inventory of the precipitation on the plots of the Boerenbusiness Crop tour.
The Gewastour plots in the north of the country received an average of 10 millimeters of rain, according to Sencrop's weather poles. These weather posts are located on all plots of the Gewastour. Significantly less precipitation fell in the south of the country. 5,1 to 7,4 millimeters fell in the southwest of the country.
The data from the weather post on the plot in Kimswerd (Friesland) shows that the most rain fell there on Sunday evening, May 26. 16 millimeters fell here.

A lot of precipitation has also fallen on the other side of the IJsselmeer. Last night 14,5 millimeters fell on the plot in Middenmeer (North Holland).
About 10 millimeters fell on the various plots in Flevoland. The least rain fell in the east of the country on Sunday, May 26. The plot in Oeffelt (North Brabant) received 0,8 millimeters.
