Not all onion growers are equipped to store onions. Uienhandel.com has created a new form of sales for these growers.
Your onions are collected from the country and stored and monitored elsewhere. The onions are sold on a regular basis between November 1, 2019 and March 31, 2020 (a fixed volume per week). As a participant you will receive the average sales price within this period. In this way you can take advantage of a (possible) price increase during the storage season. By regularly selling the onions, the price risks are spread.
The payout price is based on the realized bale prices. All prices and costs have been made transparent for you. You will receive a newsletter every month in which you are informed about the movements of the market. All (standard) costs are announced in advance and the realized prices are transparent.
