Mechanization company Abemec has become the brand new dealer of Dewulf in 4 provinces. This concerns North Brabant, North and Central Limburg, Utrecht and West Gelderland. After Abemec bought Van Arendonk Mechanisatie, it acquired this brand for Flevoland.
Dealer shuffle
Abemec is a full line dealer of all Dewulf products for these provinces and areas. Van Arendonk Mechanisatie, who again took over the dealership from Van Engelen, was already a distributor for Eastern and Southern Flevoland. With the acquisition by Abemec in November 2018, one of the largest mechanization companies in the Netherlands also acquired Dewulf. In Flevoland, Abemec shares the dealership with Bart Agro Mechanisatie and Naaktgeboren.
The move is a bit complicated because Abemec Steenbergen is also dealer of Grimme. It is still unclear what the company will do with this brand.
Existing dealers
Changing the dealer network also has consequences for other mechanization companies. For example, Dewulf already had or has 3 dealers in North Brabant. Van Trier in De Heen (storage technique), Gebr. Weststrate (planting and harvesting technique) and Visser in Bladel. In Limburg that is Rovadi in Ysselsteyn. In Wet-Gelderland/Utrecht it is about De Kruyf in Nijkerk. What Dewulf will do with these companies has also not been announced.
